Keagan Brice Lucas, of Gaston County, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and unforgettable spirit. Born on August 18, 2010, Keagan lived his life to the fullest and touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Keagan was full of life and love—truly one of a kind. He had a special way of showing how much he cared, often through laughter, playful moments, and the little things that meant the most. He loved dirt racing and baseball, and he embraced every moment with energy and passion. Keagan's vibrant personality and kind heart made him someone you could never forget. He was also a member of True Gospel Interdenominational Church.

He was preceded in death by Jerry and Helen Holden; Yank and Karen Sutherland; Larry and Pat Banks; and numerous loved ones.

He is survived by his loving parents, Samantha and David Lucas; his brothers, Josiah (Madilyn) and Kai; and his sister, Pazleigh. He is also survived by his grandparents, Rev. Randy and Angie Sutherland (Mawmaw and Pa) and Toni Lucas; his aunts and uncles, Bruce and Mindy Sutherland and Cookie White; and his cousins, Carleigh and Elijah(Reese) Sutherland and Aiden, Kylee, and Trey, along with many other great aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who loved him dearly.

A visitation will be held Tuesday March 31, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 p.m. at Stanley PH Church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Stanley PH Church, located at 113 E Parkwood St, Stanley, NC 28164.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Gaston High School Athletics. 1744 Lane Rd. Mount Holly, NC 28120.

Keagan’s life, though far too short, was filled with meaning, laughter, and love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
